Post by johncody1016 on Apr 29, 2012 9:48:20 GMT -5
Ok, so here is what we are racing for.... The original deal was the track would add $18k to the pot, 4k for each class and 10k for the runoff...
The drivers all got together and agreed to take 4k off the runoff pot and add back to the classes, so....
NOS - $17,000 to win Blown - $18,000 to win NOS vs Blown Runoff - $6,000 to win
The purses are winner take all, of course the drivers can split however they want, if they want...

NOS Eliminations Round #1
Left Lane: Doug Reisterer – 4.44 et – 121.02 mph ***WINNER*** Right Lane: N/T
Interesting to see if Doug shows his hand here…And he does not… Looked like a good lap, then he clicked it early…
Left Lane: Kerry Crosby – 4.18 et – 172.96 mph ***WINNER*** Right Lane: Frank Cersosimo – 4.18 et – 174.84 mph
Great drag race!! They left together, Frank made a little wiggle about half track and that was all Crosby needed to take a .004 margin of victory!
Left Lane: Dewayne Silance – 4.18 et – 176.21 mph ***WINNER*** Right Lane: N/T
Man, the Hogfarmer went hard left, pulled it back and pedaled his way through on a single…
Left Lane: Jason Harris – N/T ***WINNER*** Right Lane: N/T
Harris needed his single…. The car lost fire after the burnout… He got it re-fired, backed up, staged and the car hiccupped and coasted to a stop about halftrack…But, he moves on…
Left Lane: Chris Rini – 3.92 et – 188.23 mph ***WINNER*** Right Lane: N/T
And Rini hides nothing, flexing his muscles once again!
Left Lane: John Vergotz – 5.28 et – 89.59 mph Right Lane: Steve Vick – 4.35 et – 130.25 mph ***WINNER***
Wow, Vergotz left first then ran into problems and lifted… Vick looked to be cruising when the car made a hard move, headed to the centerline and he had to lift… He had enough momentum to coast to the round win!

Harvey with another great lap to head to the second round…
Left Lane: Ray Schuler – 4.02 et – 182.06 mph ***WINNER*** Right Lane: Mike Hill – 4.57 et – 124.78 mph

Makins and crew have this car on a rail… Another consistent lap to head to the next round…
Left Lane: Danny Lowery – 6.35 et – 91.71 mph Right Lane: Troy Jordan – 3.95 et – 185.38 mph ***WINNER***
Lowery had a .987 60’, but still couldn’t get the car past halftrack… Jordan did some driving, but takes the easy win…

Wow, another awesome pass for King Tut, again with big speed…
Left Lane: Bill Lutz – 4.12 et – 180.96 mph Right Lane: Ed Hoover – 4.02 et – 182.70 mph ***WINNER***
Hoover rode the centerline but never lifted, getting the round win… Lutz left first, but could never pick up from the low teens this weekend…
Left Lane: Danny Blankenship – 3.89 et – 188.65 mph ***WINNER*** Right Lane: N/T
A smooth straight run for Blankenship, looking good for the rest of the evening…
Left Lane: Joe Baker – 3.95 et – 185.10 mph ***WINNER*** Right Lane: Mark Wells – N/T
Wells could not make the call, giving Baker a broke bye…. And Joe goes a little left, but moves on to the next round…
In the next round round we will have Coyle vs Sullivan, Fleck vs Jordan, Tutterow vs Hoover and Blankenship vs Baker…
